Yoga Retreat in Venice
The very first days of January are the perfect time to manifest good intentions and resolutions as not to make the same mistakes as the previous year.
Start 2024 in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, rediscovering yourself, your passions, your desires and the goals you can achieve for a brighter and better future.
Let’s start the new year on the right foot together!
Margherita will guide you for the duration of three days, through yoga practices, breathing exercises and meditation and more. We will do daily workshops on personal development, and wonderful experiences and rituals in the open air in the city where all the elements flow, first of all water.
You are passionate about yoga and personal improvement, and want to get in touch with your body and feel good;
You want to visit Venice, one of the most beautiful cities in the world and experience it from a different point of view, while enjoying typical delicacies and meeting new people;
You want to transform the way you live. You feel stuck in a routine that doesn't satisfy you, you've forgotten what it meant to live in a light and fun way;
You would like to enjoy a ‘different’ experience while simultaneously taking care of yourself and want to be part of a group of conscious people who are working on themselves

Important
On the day of arrival there will be an opening circle, and on the day of departure there will be a closing circle. Please plan to reach the location by 5PM on the first day and depart after 11AM on the final day.
The program may be subject to time changes to include a trip to the Lido or by boat to one of the Islands to participate in a local event (activities that will be coordinated based on the weather).

The synergy of a group is very important for the collective happiness and well being of its members.
Due to this a group chat will be formed a couple of days prior to the beginning of the retreat. This will allow us all to get to know each other and will be essential for any last minute communications, information regarding transportation and additional logistic

In Italy food is important :)
On the first evening (Thursday) dinner will be organized at the structure that hosts us, the wonderful former Crociferi Jesuit monastery now known as Combo. It will allow us to enjoy some post-trip relaxation, get to know each other and enjoy the splendid cloister.
For the following evenings, a night will be dedicated to visiting a classic Venetian bacaro for the typical spritz and cicchetti. Finally, on the last evening we will be guests of the Venetian research cuisine project Tocia!

Bring with you comfortable clothes for practicing, something to protect you from the cold on the boat trip (January in Venice can be sunny and windless, but if it blows it is sharp and the humidity is ALWAYS felt) and a white outfit for the last evening.
Type of Yoga
Margherita is trained in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, plays the harmonium, teaches Pilates, she is a dancer, teaches myofascial training techniques and likes to have fun! Expect a mix of all of this during the lesson!
The morning lesson will be more intense as it offers variations and support for those who have just started to approach yoga, but gives those who are already connoisseurs to explore it even further. The evening practice on the other hand, will include workshops, yin and hatha yoga and somatic practices.
